We only send alerts when very strong limits are reached so you won't get bombarded with text messages and/or e-mails through the year.
The conditions we let you know of are: moderate to heavy snow, ice, freezing rain, freezing drizzle, very dense fog, moderate rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, sustained winds 30 mph or higher, wind gusts of 45 mph or higher, wintry mix, very thick smoke, extreme cold, extreme heat, and dust storms.
THE SERVICE IS FREE SO SHARE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY! Be sure you know the costs of your cell phone texting plan. Be safe where ever you are.
