Wedding Video
Turningleaf Productions
Wedding Video in my opinion is simply a must. It will be one of the best decisions you'll make after all the wedding planning and wedding events are finished. I speak first hand. Being in television when we got married a couple of photographers on thier own brought cameras to the event. I wore a wireless mic to capture the sound. This was one of the most special gifts we recieved. To this day I love popping it in to the vcr! Now almost seven years later it's fun to see the kids grown, me with less hair, and my bride as beautiful as ever! I mention this because at the wedding show we were set up across from Chuck Oldright. He had a nice booth with the widescreen televisions set up with his video work running. I couldn't help noticing some real nice camera shots. Professional like I've seen in my television career. So I went over and met him and he agreed to an interview. Below is the audio version with the words printed out.
Turning Leaf Productions Wedding Video Interview
How did Chuck Oldright get started?
I started off well the long story is I was a musician on a cruiseline for four years, I've been a musician all my life and through my travels on the cruiseline I developed a love for photography and found out I was real good at it...One thing led to another and one of my buddies introduced me to how much fun I could have in editing videos and I started picking that up little by little and umm I moved home and decided to open up a business and here I am.How cool is it to see the brides reaction when they're watching the finished video?
Absolutely it's the best way to capture and show your friends and family that can't make it to the wedding..something that they're going to hold on forever for a lifetime and uhh Yea it's the best way to capture those kinds of memories and to preserve them. The reactions the brides get when they see the dvd is amazing. They love it and I try to make sure that my videos are a very accurate representation of what happens that day.Do you travel?
Yea I travel. I try to keep it reasonable along I5. But if people want to get me there I'll go!
