Can I turn this on and off to limit getting text messages?

Yes. Just send an e-mail with the Contact Us link above. Please include your name and specify when you want it turned off and back on. For quicker service include the interstates traveled and/or the beginning and ending states if they apply. If you remember the date you signed up that would help.

Can I have this on just during the day and off at night?

Yes. We just added that option. If you already have set up Weather Text and would like this feature for your service contact us and let us know you want it just for the daylight hours. If you haven't signed up yet there is an option on the sign up form. For quicker service include the interstates traveled and/or the beginning and ending states if they apply. If you remember the date you signed up that would help.

I'm getting weather reports from areas behind me. Can I turn them off and then back on for my return trip?

Yes. Please know approximate times your traveling and on what days and we'll do our best to turn off the weather stations behind you. Then specify when you're returning and we'll reset them.

I'm getting too many fog reports.

Many times in winter especially dense fog can sit for many hours and for many days. To take fog off your weather list just send us an e-mail and we'll take it off.

Do we pay you additional fees for text messages?

No. Only the fee for the service you chose. This is seperate from the rates your cell phone provider charges.

Do I get Watches, Warnings, or Advisories from the National Weather Service?

No. This service deals with the actual hourly weather observations. When those reach a strong criteria that may cause you harm we'll send a text message or e-mail.

Can I give feed back?

Yes! We love ideas on how to make this service the top of the line. Again the best way is to contact us with an e-mail with the link above.

Can I help sell this service?

Absolutely. Contact us and we'll work out a commission plan. Any location in the United States is game. Sell to residents and businesses in your town or city!

Can I share the information I receive?

Yes. The data used is not copyrighted to Weather Text or BridalWeather.com®. The data is supplied from the National Weather Service and is free for public use. The Weather Text Software and service can't be sold or used without written consent from BridalWeather.com®.
